If you are interested in being a vendor at the Big Dreams Market, please read carefully before proceeding with your application. 

Big Dreams Market October 5th, 2025 vendor application forms and general information:

We’re looking for true makers, creators, and dreamers! To keep the market authentic and exciting for shoppers, all vendors must follow these rules:

✅ What You Can Sell

  • Food Entrepreneurs: Homemade goods allowed under Texas Cottage Food Law (baked goods, jams, spices, popcorn, coffee beans, candy, etc.). No hot/prepared food.

  • Craft Makers: Handmade jewelry, candles, soaps, woodwork, home décor, leather goods, etc.

  • Artists: Original paintings, drawings, prints, sculptures, photography, digital art, etc.

  • Fashion & Accessories: Handmade clothing, hats, bags, and accessories created by you.

  • Unique Services/Experiences: Face painting, henna art, live sketches, etc.

🚫 What’s Not Allowed

  • No reselling or wholesale items (e.g., buying from Amazon, Shein, or another maker and reselling).

  • No used or secondhand items (this is not a flea market or garage sale).

  • No mass-produced or factory-made products.

  • No food that requires permits unless you have the proper paperwork.

  • No MLM (multi-level marketing) or direct sales businesses.

We want every booth to reflect creativity, passion, and originality. The Big Dreams Market is about celebrating local entrepreneurs who are bringing their own ideas to life.

 

Planning to sell food, please read below

✅ Foods You Can Sell (Cottage Foods)

  • Baked goods (bread, cookies, cakes, pastries) that do not require refrigeration.

  • Candy & confections (fudge, toffee, chocolate).

  • Coated/roasted nuts.

  • Granola, cereal, trail mix.

  • Dried herbs & mixes (spice blends, soup mixes).

  • Jams & jellies (only those made from fruits with a high acidity — ex: strawberry, blackberry, peach).

  • Fruit butters (apple butter, pumpkin butter, etc.).

  • Pickles & fermented foods (but they must be properly acidified — vinegar based).

  • Dried fruits & vegetables.

  • Coffee & tea (whole bean, ground, or herbal tea blends).

  • Popcorn & popcorn snacks.

  • Mustard, ketchup, BBQ sauce, salsas (only if they pass pH testing and are shelf-stable).

  • Dry baking mixes (like cookie or pancake mix).

🚫 Foods You Cannot Sell 

These require a commercial kitchen + food permit:

  • Anything requiring refrigeration (cheesecake, cream pies, tres leches, custards).

  • Meat products (jerky, tamales with meat, BBQ plates).

  • Dairy products (cheese, milk, yogurt).

  • Low-acid canned foods (like green beans, corn, or soups).

  • Prepared hot meals.

⚖️ Rules You Must Follow

  • All sales must be direct to the consumer (farmers markets, fairs, pop-ups, your home, or delivery). You cannot wholesale to stores.

  • Food must be labeled with your name, address, and a statement that it was made in a home kitchen not inspected by the state.

  • You must take a food handler’s course (cheap and online — about $10). Click here for course
